What leads man to choose something that is not in accordance with God's will? Is man good? Why does he fall into sin? What does he do?    

Since man was made in the image and likeness of God, it would be natural for him to act according to just, right and generally good principles.    

But that is not what happens. On the contrary, like a tantruming child, he always tries to do what pleases his flesh, his will, his desire.    

This happens because of the sin under which the human being was born, called “original sin”. And he must fight against his sinful nature, not conforming himself to what is contrary to the divine principles and established in the Holy Scriptures.    

For according to the Holy Spirit, if we live according to the flesh, we will die. But if by the Spirit we mortify our carnal nature, we shall live. In other words, if we sin, we shall not have eternal life. For the wages of sin is death.    

Therefore, it is necessary to know what sin is in order not to sin. For if we sin willfully, after we have the knowledge of the truth, which is the law of God, there is no longer sacrifice for sin, but a horrible expectation of burning fire, which will destroy the sinner, considered as an adversary or opponent of God. Heb. 10:26-29.
